I approach the work intuitively. My fascination with time, place, nature and culture, history, religion memory and identity, the longing for childhood, lost youth, has led me on a life quest to investigate significant moments of my history, people and places I have experienced.


As a Chilean artist who has lived in many different places and culture I had to re-define my sense of place and my sense of identity many times over. I’m compelled to embrace my “new” surroundings and influences and let my work be directly affected by it.
