Lives and works in HomeBarcelona, Spain.

born to Palestinian parents in Tripoli, Libya, in 1954. She graduated in 1976 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cairo and later studied etching and painting at the Academia Delle Belle Arti in Florence from 1978-1982. She currently lives and works in Barcelona, Spain. Badran’s practice focuses on the appropriation (and then disfiguration and manipulation) of drawings, paintings and photographs.
