Weber’s individual style is marked by an astonishing versatility that is due only in part to her background and training in the fine arts, but that owes its principal debt to her innate internal drives…

"My choice of subject matter is based on a number of things, including primarily my belief that I can present the subject in a new and powerful way. Sometimes my choice derives from activities in the world around me (business men), sometimes in part from a visual complexity, density, and seemingly unappealing qualities (trash and litter), sometimes from natural beauty (flowers, shells), and sometimes, in part from things imagined (non-specific landscapes). The possibility for a compelling color statement plays a strong part in the selection process. A series of paintings can suggest to me that I do another series on the same subject matter or that that’s enough."
